Day Three: One Fatality, No Agreement
The TWU and Septa argument over whether the union workers' pensions are adequately funded continued today, and a Septa worker was struck by a train and killed in North Philadelphia. Septa officials denied that the strike had anything to do with the death, but it (along with yesterday's R5 fire) comes at a time in which the trains have had to take on extra passengers, due to the strike.
