Strike causes increase in traffic levels

As the strike enters its 5th day here in our city of Philadelphia, many questions and concerns are being raised about the increase in traffic accidents. Street safety is now more important then ever with such a raised number of cars and bicycles on the streets throughout the city. This strike effects everyone, even those who do not use Septa services. I especially realized this today as I witnessed 1 car accident, a bicycle mishap, and an overall crazy increase in traffic. It took me an hour to get somewhere that usually takes 25 minutes.
