SEPTA Union Announces New Conference at 5:30 PM Today

Governor Rendell is preparing to meet this afternoon with the SEPTA union which will hold a news conference at 5:30 PM today. As the strike continues, commuters to schools and work are learning to work around the shutdown of the subways.

Liberty Resources employee Kendra Weaver had to have her friend drive her to the regional rail in order to reach her clients across the city.

"I help people with physical disabilities that can't bathe themselves without some one else. They require my help everyday for bathing. I have to pay six dollars a day to take the regional rail to my clients. I know SEPTA workers need money in these tough times, but so do I." Weaver said.
